I have had many dogs trained by the Dan Gentile Dog Training Center and all were extremely positive. Before I was recommended to Dan Gentile I had a trainer tell me that my dog could not be trained. Dan proved him wrong. I highly recommend Dan Gentile.

My goldendoodle was not the greatest listener when we dropped her off. When we came to get her that long two weeks later, she was a well mannered family member. We always receive compliments on her behavior and what a good girl she Is. We take her everywhere with us and don’t have to worry about Her being a nuisance. So thankful that we brought her to Dan! We just got another puppy and she is enrolled later this month!

Dan and his crew turned out headstrong and funny puppy into a puppy able to listen and follow commands. While we had done some initial training with him, he had trouble listening to directions and was at 7 months already almost 60 pounds with much more growth to come. He learned how to sit, stay, heel, come, down, and stay and the first night after he returned he lay quietly under the dinner table for an hour, surrounded by dogs and 8 boisterous adults. It was amazing -- and continues to be so. We are so grateful. They also took all the time we needed to train us how to handle him and we left feeling well equipped -- and able to replicate the commands at home -- and also with the knowledge that we can always call if we need more help. Highly recommend this place.

The trainers did an amazing job training my 8 month old puppy. Not only did his on leash behaviors improve 100%, the trainer spent valuable time teaching my son and I how to apply the commands my dog was taught and addressed every concern we had. We now have the best version of our boy!

Dan Gentile has trained 5 of my German Shepherds since 1997. Dan is a amazing knowable world renowned trainer & behaviorist. My boy Major (in photo) at 1.5 years old was lunging at my throat, Dan took him in to his training center & did extensive training with him & continued to work with myself & Major for 2- years. Dan Gentile & his staff are the only ones I trust boarding my dog's (dog's he has trained) I trust my boys with Dan before I would trust my own family with them. We brought our 6 month old rescue to Dan Gentile for the on site training. We were amazed at how well he Was trained when he returned home. Would sit on command, heel, no more pulling on the leash! Stopped begging for food. We were inexperienced dog owners and this made all the difference.

My dog went into their training program completely healthy and ten days later was 15 pounds lighter and had pneumonia in both lungs. He spent four days in the hospital and at first they were worried he wasn't going to make it. Somewhere along the way, either my dog picked up an illness from another dog there, or was so overworked that he vomited and aspirated and no one noticed. We will not be bringing him back to complete the training with them as we cannot trust them to take good care of our dog. Not only are we out the money we paid for the training and boarding, but the hospital stay cost us $4000. They will never get business from us again and I will be sure to tell people to not take their beloved pets to them.

I had a few trainers work with my Siberian husky. We had no luck. She was very hyper, nipping and did not obey any commands. After a two week training with Dan Gentile she is perfect. Great staff as well. I will be reccomending Dan Gentile to any dog owners I know!

If it wasn’t for their help with Kookie, I would have to give him away because of my daughter. He is too big and used to jump on her all the time, hurting her, she was 3 years old at the time. I took Kookie there crying because I really didn’t believe it was possible, Kookie was 3 years old. And today, my daughter is 5 years old and my baby boy is 1 year old. And Kookie is with us and I’ll never let him go. He is the most sweet dog ever!!! Never jump on the kids! Takes care of them! Wakes them up when he hears the ice cream truck! 🤣 Thank you for everything Dan Gentile Dog Training!!!!

In the past, i'v taken my German Shepherds to another training facility and what a difference taking my GS here. This is the 1st time in 26 years at the same address that my neighbors are not complaining about my Shepherd and the barking, jumping and not listening. He listens when we give a command and he is wonderful around kids. It amazes me how Lukie also is our protector, and makes our family alway's feel safe. Our adorable, but spirited, dog spent two weeks here and was returned to us still just as adorable and spirited but less impulsive. Both he and I learned so much in such a short time.

Friendly, professional, effective. In two weeks my energetic little pitbull went from not listening to anything to obeying commands quickly. The little training session at pick-up was especially helpful to ensure we're doing the right things to reinforce the training. It was tough letting our girl go for two weeks but it was well worth it. I would recommend Dan and his team to anyone looking to get their dog trained.

Dan and the team were amazing. They did a great job with our 9 month old German Sheppard rescue. He was a handful. Now he has some great manners and is much more manageable.

Was referred to Dan Gentile Dog Training by a client of mine. I have researched many dog trainers and facilities attempting to find the best option for my 1 year old pit puppy. After speaking with Dan who took the time to walk me through his offerings, and his background in the industry I knew this was the way to go. While it was hard leaving my pup for two weeks, I'm blown away at the results! Lola went to Dan knowing basic commands, and was a good dog, no huge issues or problems with temperament. However she was a typical pup that jumps on ppl when excited, begs for food, sticks her head in the dishwasher as you try to load it, and always pulling on her leash wanting to play with other dogs. I'm beyond happy to report that all of these issues are non existent after working with Dan Gentile Dog Training. They really simplify the behaviors and corrections needed to create those behaviors. Not only has it been so pleasant for me, but it's easy to see how much more comfortable Lola is now knowing what is and isn't the desired behaviors. She is still a fun loving excitable pup, but she takes every command immediately in those tougher situations.
